This is the 29th work in the Narabe-ta series.

We layered old papers, added hand-drawn lines and dots, pale green and blue, red borders and polka dot patterns, and finally boldly combined the character "&".

Thinking of various &s between different materials, old and new, ready-made and handmade, feelings between people, favorite things and activities, this masking tape was made hoping it will become an & that connects well what you want to paste together.

The same pattern repeats approximately every 22cm.

Since the texture of the old paper material is well expressed, as shown in the top photo, it has a good presence and can be enjoyed when folded over and pasted on the edge, for example, when making handmade envelopes.
