Grandmother's Keepsake

Hello.

Thanks to you, & masking tape is very popular♪

There is still stock on minne,

so if you are interested, please use it!

We will accept orders from the 26th to January 7th, but

shipping operations will be on break.

If you want to use it early for New Year's cards,

please place your order by the 25th. Thank you very much.

By the way, the photo above is something I found yesterday while organizing kimonos.

It is the cloth that wrapped the kimono coat I received as a keepsake from my grandmother,

and it says MEXICO,

giving off an army-like vibe.

I just imagine how this cloth came to my grandmother,

and it feels like a mysterious time-space travel.

Could it be an old boyfriend?

No, maybe from the postwar black market?

I wonder. Why did she keep it?

Even if I could ask her while she was alive,

she would probably say, "Ah, I don’t know."

The kimono coat is made of silk fabric with a wrinkled warabi color.

Gap moe.

It doesn’t fit me, so I can’t wear it,

but I will keep it as it is.
